KSB ACTAIR C1 F03+F05 DD11 Pneumatic Butterfly Valve features a disc installed along the pipeline's diameter direction. Within the cylindrical passage of the valve body, the disc-shaped butterfly plate rotates around the axis. The initial position of the valve is set according to actual requirements. When the valve rotates 90° from its initial position, one action is completed (from open to closed, or from closed to open), and the reverse completes the other action (from closed to open, or from open to closed).

Pneumatic wafer butterfly valves come with two sealing types: elastic seal and metal seal. For elastic seal valves, the sealing ring can be embedded in the valve body or attached around the periphery of the disc.
Pneumatic wafer butterfly valves have a long service life but are difficult to achieve complete sealing. Metal seals can adapt to higher working temperatures, while elastic seals are limited by temperature constraints.
The clever wedge design enables the pneumatic wafer ball valve to have a self-sealing function that tightens as it closes.
Pneumatic wafer butterfly valves have a simple structure, compact size, and light weight, consisting of only a few components, making them easy to install.
When the pneumatic wafer butterfly valve is fully open, the thickness of the disc is the only resistance to the medium flowing through the valve body, resulting in a very low pressure drop across the valve and excellent flow control characteristics.
